SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam Analysis 22nd Feb 2018 – Statistics (10:30 – 12:30 PM)

Hello friends, we are here with SSC CGL 2017 Tier 2 Paper 3 and 4. The Statistics paper was of Moderate level. The questions were time consuming & calculative. There were 2-4 questions data collection, frequency distribution. About 5 questions from conditional probability, standard deviation and mean deviation.


SSC CGL 2017-18 Tier 2 Paper-3 and Paper-4

Paper-3  : Paper-III comprises of Statistics questions and for only those candidates who have applied for the post of Statistical Investigator Grade II & Compiler. Here total time duration for the Paper-3 exam is 2 hrs and contains total 100 questions. Every questions carries 2 marks. 0.5 Marks of negative is applicable for each wrong answer.

Paper-4 : Paper-IV is also same as Paper-III which means that candidates who have applied for the post of C&AG and Asst. Audit Officer will appears for Paper-4. There is also the same time duration as well as total marks, negative marking for Paper-4. This paper is comprises of 2 sections.

First Section comprises of Finance and Accounts and carries 40 questions which carries 80 marks (2 marks for each questions).

Second Section comprises of Economic and Governance and have 60 questions which carries 120 marks (2 marks for each questions).

Paper IV – Finance & Accounts and Economics & Governance = 65-70 Questions
